Nearby attractions include Cheddar Gorge and caves, Wookey Hole, the small city of Wells with its magnificent cathedral, Bishops Palace, the spiritual town of Glastonbury with its myths and legends, Tor and Abbey, and the coastal resorts and fine sandy beaches at Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea.
