Ayuda House is a wonderful, spacious, detached property which can be found in a quiet residential setting less than a mile from the desirable Cheshire village of Bowdon. Frequently featured on ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’, the affluent and leafy village is mostly National Trust owned as part of the Dunham Massey Estate. It’s also home to Borage Restaurant, which you’ll find listed in the prestigious Michelin Guide.
Bordering Bowden is the beautiful and vibrant village of Hale which has achieved the perfect balance of village and city style, with ample bars and restaurants to choose from. Close to Hale is the modern market town of Altrincham, just 2 miles from Ayuda House. Altrincham Market is very much the heart of the town since its reinvention as an indoor food hall, offering no less than ten independent quality food operators. You’ll also find a cinema, where whilst enjoying a film, you can get a nice glass of red wine and slice of freshly made pizza served directly at your seat!
In Altrincham you can hop on the Manchester Metrolink tram system which will take you directly to Manchester city centre in just over 20 minutes. For any sports or music enthusiasts, the tram has links to both Old Trafford and the City of Manchester Etihad Stadium. National Trust members can visit Dunham Massey, Tatton Park, Quarry Bank Mill and Hare Hill, all within half an hour, and for keen shoppers, the Trafford Centre is around 20 minutes by car and The Lowry Outlet at Salford Quays is around 30 minutes.
