Located at the end of a quiet lane in the beautiful village of Mouldsworth, Woodfield is a superbly presented, detached cottage with the owners living next door, and is set on the edge of the Cheshire Plains. In pride of place in the cosy living room is a wood burner for chillier winter months, and a spacious garden to the rear is perfect for those warm summer days. Ample off road parking is provided, and the local food serving pub, just a 2-minute walk, is widely reputed to be one of Cheshire’s finest.
Delamere Forest is just 2 miles away and as Cheshire’s largest area of woodland, provides ample activities and events as well as Go Ape, a tree top adventure course. Manley Mere, also 2 miles, is home to an adventure trail, water park and gardens for another fun-filled day out. The famous Sandstone Trail, as featured on ‘Julia Bradbury and Ore Oduba’s Top 100 Walks’ can be picked up at Manley Common, and 9-acre day fishing is available across the road. Just 8 miles away is the historic city of Chester, home to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, Blue Planet Aquarium and Chester races, and for those wanting to give their cars a rest Mouldsworth railway station is around a minute’s walk and provides regular and easy access to Chester, Manchester and Liverpool. An ideal base for exploring the stunning Welsh mountains and coastline, and the market towns and villages of Cheshire and Shropshire are both within easy touring distance. Beach 28 miles.
