From here, you can hire a bike or walk the Camel Trail, either to Padstow or in the other direction to Bodmin, along a disused railway track. Further up the coast, is the historic fishing village of Port Isaac, where Doc Martin is filmed, and a little further, is Boscastle and Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur. The beautiful and dramatic Bodmin Moor is also close by, as is the Eden Project. The south coast with its gardens and traditional fishing villages are also within easy reach. Beach 3 miles. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub ½ mile.
