This is a peaceful location with easy access to miles of coastal paths and some of Cornwall’s most beautiful beaches including Swan Pool Beach, the beautiful sheltered beach at Maenporth cove and Gyllingvase white sandy beach with crystal clear waters. There are beach cafes, restaurants and fish restaurants, and water sports are available on many of the beaches.
The main bustling town and harbours of Falmouth is just minutes away, with its prestigious marinas attracting some of the world’s leading racing yachts and ocean going vessels. The port of Falmouth is the third deepest natural harbour in the world. The town has an excellent choice of restaurants, bistros, tea rooms, cafés and pubs. Events Square is home to the National Maritime Museum with various events throughout the year, including the lively Sea Shanty week, Oyster Festival and food and music festivals.
Falmouth has a multi screen cinema, theatre, bowling, golf course and cycle hire with a number of old tram line cycle trails running from the south coast across to the north coast.
Take the train from Falmouth to the cathedral city of Truro to experience great shops, markets, cinema and theatre with a great selection of restaurants and pubs serving great food.
