The beach is a short stroll down the lane and provides all that guests will need for that special family day including swimming and rock pooling. A short walk along a track from the house leads to Chapel Point, a small headland with a quiet secluded beach, a ‘local secret’. Explore fine old country houses and gardens, some of the country’s finest are all within easy driving distance, together with some wonderful beaches, many of which are almost totally unchanged and look as they must have done in times gone by. The pretty villages of St Mawes, Tregony and Veryan are all close by. Truro, Cornwall’s capital, is easily reached and still has an old world charm with narrow cobbled streets and individual shops, a wide range of restaurants, theatre and cinema.
