Ferry Lodge is located within a holiday village at the shore front of Strangford Lough, overlooking the Portaferry Marina, in the most charming and picturesque village of Portaferry, in County Down at the southern end of the Ards Peninsula. This is the ideal, self-catering accommodation to relax, unwind and enjoy a holiday at ease and in the comfort of this cosy house. The living room has a welcoming open fire, a dining area with doors opening out into the sun room and conservatory. The kitchen, is well equipped along with a utility room, ground bathroom with shower cubicle. Upstairs you will find a second, separate living room, with a TV and comfortable seating. Three bedroom consisting of a double, twin and bunk room, a spacious bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle. At the rear of the house is a secluded, enclosed raised and walled garden with a lower seating area on the patio, and garden furniture in the raised area with a summer house.
Portaferry is home to the Exploris Aquarium and is well known for the annual Gala Week Float Parade. All around the town are garden seating areas, picnic tables and everywhere you go the views are magnificent. There are many shops, restaurants, cafés, a hotel, pubs and friendly people. Among some of the local activities in the area are sailing, fishing, walking, cycling, horse riding, golf, play parks and motor sport. Beach 15 yards. Shop 2 yards, pub and restaurant 10 yards.
