The Lakeland villages of Coniston and Hawkshead are idyllic and have an abundance of shops and cafés to discover, and for the more adventurous why not take to the tree top challenge of Grizedale Forest, or venture along the many paths by foot or by bike. Coniston Old Man stands magnificently as a back drop, yet there are many more walks for all, including your four legged friends. For a little bit of Victorian elegance, why not have a trip out on the Steam Yacht Gondola that sails between the months of March and November on Coniston Water, or take to the water yourself for a real Swallows and Amazons adventure. There are so many things to fill your days all year round in this wonderful area, you will find that everyone will leave with a wonderful memory of their stay. Beach 15 miles.
