Bannerigg is a grade II listed building designed by Pugin and is sister property to Alice Howe.. Ground Floor:
The house has two gas fired central heating systems and briefly comprises:
Entrance porch:  Leading to the inner hallway which has a large area for storing and hanging outdoor wear.
Lounge:  A spacious, elegant lounge with open fire (fuel not provided), leather settees and chairs to seat 16 people, 42 inch plasma TV. There are also a number of wooden games for your amusement.
Dining room:  Spacious dining room with a Bose sound system with a phone and I Pad attachment. The room has large windows on two sides which gives it a tremendous amount of natural light. There is a large dining table with 16 padded chairs the ideal place for whiling away an evening.
Kitchen: All the units have granite tops, cooking is on a gas fired Aga. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave and large American fridge with icemaker. The room also has a farmhouse style table and chairs - perfect for those full cooked Lake District breakfasts!
Utility room: With washing machine, tumble dryer, toilet and sink.
Rear hallway: Leads to garden.. First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With 3 single divan beds, flat screen TV and en-suite shower, wash basin and W.C.
Bedroom 2: With 4 single divan beds, TV and en-suite with shower and WC.
Bedroom 3: With 3 single divan beds and TV.
Bathroom: With WC, sink and bath with shower over.. Second Floor:
Bedroom 4:  Large room with 4 single divan beds and TV. 
Bedroom 5:  With twin beds and TV.
Shower room:  With shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.. All electric, gas, bed linen and towels provided. Fuel for the open fire is not provided however it can be purchased nearby. One cot and two highchairs are available.
The houses do have Wi-Fi, however due to our remote operation we cannot guarantee this will be compatible with your system.
Two dogs allowed.. Outside: Enclosed lawned gardens. Rear patio with teak table and chairs, two "steamer" style sun loungers and BBQ. A rear stone outbuilding houses an 8 seat hot tub. Parking for up to 5 cars.. Bannerrigg (’sister property’ to Alice Howe and Boston House) a Grade II listed property, was designed by Augustus (AWN) Pugin (1812 - 1852), arguably the greatest British architect, designer and writer of the 19th Century whose name is synonymous with the interior of The House of Lords and the Palace of Westminster.  The houses on the terrace were designed as holiday homes for the railway executives each one having unique character. The historic nature of this spacious property is reflected in the style and quality of the decor, furnishings and accessories.  If you are looking for a big house in the Lake District for a family holiday or short break with a group of friends, Bannerrigg is the ideal choice.
Outside there’s a new large slate patio. An 8 seat hot tub has been installed in it’s own building in the garden and the parking area has been extended to fit 5 cars (in fact if you are prepared to park each other in, there’s room for 7 cars). Bannerrigg has 5 bedrooms, two triple rooms, two rooms with four beds and a twin room. The house is an ideal base for the larger party and with the train and bus station literally around the corner, it’s easily accessible for those members of your group that are travelling from far and wide.  This property can be booked together with Alice Howe (CC127187) and Boston House (CC127199), White Moss (CC127244) and Number One (CC127243) to accommodate up to 66 people in 30 bedrooms!
