The spa town of Buxton is just 6 miles with numerous places of interest to visit within 10 miles including the market town of Bakewell, the stunning Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall as seen in TV’s ’Jane Eyre’, The Chestnut Centre, and the caves of Castleton, Edale and Eyam Hall. Slightly further afield is Crich Tramway Village, Alton Towers, Matlock Bath with its cable cars and Lyme Park NT and Hardwick Hall. Excellent walks literally from the door. Golf and horse riding within 5 miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub next door.
