The market town of Buxton, famous for its spring water, diverse architecture and iconic opera house, is around 15 minutes away, and the ever popular Bakewell, home to the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, is around 20 minutes away. Finally, the UK’s premier theme park, Alton Towers, can be reached in around half an hour. Shop 2¼ miles, pub 175 yards, restaurant 1½ miles.
