The Matlock Bath Illuminations and firework display are especially popular with kids and adults alike in autumn. Just a short drive away will take you to the nearby picturesque market town of Bakewell (8.5 miles) which lies in the heart of the Peak District National Park and offers a fantastic place for meandering through the various shops, cafes and restaurants. Make your way along the passage and under the feature Gothic style archway. Enter through the cathedral door and take a flight of steps down into the accommodation which leads you into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area offers everything you need to rustle up a meal during your stay including an electric oven with a two ring hob, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer. Nearby, there is a fold out dining table ideal for lazy breakfasts and planning the next day's activities. The lounge area offers a sofa, which doubles up as a sofa bed for little ones, an armchair and Smart TV. The bedroom comprises a king size bed and a wall mounted TV, perfect for decadent lie ins with good company during your stay. The shower room offers a shower and WC. Outside the property, there is a small table and chairs in the alleyway outside the property, ideal if you want to sit and enjoy a cup of tea in the fresh air. There is ample on road parking a short walk away from the property.
