Miller s Dale itself is widely regarded as the most impressive dale within the area with a barrage of natural obstacles such as side stepping hills gaps gorges and rock faces which is an adventurer s paradise. The Dale sits along a serene stretch of the River Wye between Buxton and Bakewell. This beautiful part of the Peak District National Park is a walkers and cyclists paradise with a number of stunning walks straight from the door. There are numerous cycle routes including Tissington Trail High Peak Trail and Monsal Trail. Historical highlights in the area include Chatsworth House Haddon Hall Eyam Hall Peveril Castle and Bolsover Castle. Enter the cottage into a charming hallway with tiled floors and a space to kick off your boots and hang up your coats. There are two ground floor bedrooms a double with TV and day bed (which is ideal for the little ones) and steps leading up to a spacious en-suite bathroom with roll top bath shower his and hers wash basins and WC. Just along the hallway is another ground floor double bedroom with TV and en-suite bathroom offering roll top bath and WC. Upstairs welcomes you into the lounge area with impressive vaulted ceilings displaying exposed beams. Whether it s relaxing in front of the TV or curling up with a good book this is the perfect place. The country kitchen offers a gas range oven and hob microwave dishwasher and a farmhouse table which provides a wonderful spot for a lazy breakfast or celebration meal. There is a handy utility area just off the kitchen with fridge/freezer and washing machine. The bedroom on this floor offers a double and a day bed (which is ideal for the little ones) with TV this room enjoys river views and is a relaxing space for a lie in. Completing the accommodation is the en-suite shower room with WC. Heading outside there are two outdoor spaces to enjoy there is a sheltered decked area which is a lovely secluded space this leads up to a raised terrace area that has beautiful views up the valley and is a great spot to sit out on a sunny day they are both accessed from the first floor. There is off-road parking for one car and additional parking available in the nearby lay-by approximately 100 yards away on a first come first served basis or in a pay and display public car park within a short walk.
