A most attractive situation in the Taw Valley amid 1.5 acres of mature gardens and stream bordered woodland with lovely views over rolling countryside. There are delightful walks around the grounds with an abundance of wildlife and wildflowers. The nearby village of Bishops Tawton offers a choice of character pubs and all the market town amenities of Barnstaple is just a further 10 minute drive including a good choice of restaurants and shops, and with indoor pannier market, theatre, cinema and leisure centre also available. An ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of Devon with easy access to a choice of beach resorts including Instow, Saunton and Croyde and with great days out to be enjoyed at many tourist attractions such as the historic city of Exeter, RHS Gardens at Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal.
Accommodation is fully self-contained, spacious and very well maintained and equipped throughout. Spacious double bedded room with lovely views over the garden, fitted wardrobes and en-suite bathroom/wc. with elec shower over bath. Very comfortable beamed living room with oil fired woodburner effect stove, TV, DVD, radio and views over garden. Fully fitted kitchen/diner with elec hob and separate oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Good size lawned garden with flowers and shrubs, and patio area with garden furniture. Shared use of owner's gardens, leading to delightful woodland, which offers picturesque walking and is home to pheasants, badgers and an abundance of wild flowers. Private driveway parking for one or two cars.
