Farmer Oak’s Hut is a delightful, traditional shepherd’s hut, with the owner living on-site, perfect for to getaway from it all or as somewhere special to return to at the end of a long day sightseeing. Surrounded by an enclosed garden, with views over the surrounding countryside, you can really appreciate rural Devon at its best. Along with the sitting out areas, there is an outdoor cooking area with a cook book, to really take full advantage of the experience. From the hut, there is access to a beautiful woodland walk which is signposted and accessed over a stream via a wooden bridge. This lovely area has much to offer, and there are amenities in Tavistock, Okehampton and Launceston. Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and the sandy beaches of North Cornwall are all easily accessible. Water sports and fishing are available at Roadford Lake just 5 miles and golf is available nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
