Set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this cottage lies in a stunning location, well away from busy roads at the end of a no through lane. Breath taking panoramic views of the surrounding rolling countryside can be enjoyed from the extensive garden where you may hear the distant toot of a steam train. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic village of Corfe Castle, Purbeck Way and coast path with stunning sea views and extensive opportunities for walking and cycling. This spacious and comfortable accommodation is ideal for larger family groups or friends and provides a great base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. You enter this beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated home in a large entrance hall with an upright piano and plenty of storage for boots and coats. A beamed sitting room with traditional flagstone floor offers a cosy wood burner set within a large fireplace. The heart of this home is the triple aspect Orangery with vaulted ceiling, oak floor and French doors to the patio where the panoramic countryside views can be fully appreciated. The dining table provides enough space to enjoy a meal all together; the well equipped triple aspect kitchen also provides a breakfast table. There is a ground floor bedroom with French doors to its own patio and a shower room alongside with WC and underfloor heating. Four additional bedrooms and two further bathrooms including an en suite with free standing bath and separate shower can be found on the first floor. The rear porch provides further storage for coats and boots. The garden extends to two thirds of an acre, much of which is laid to lawn. To the front of the property, the garden has lawn and borders with shrubs and flowers. The large rear garden has patios and paved paths that surround the house on 3 sides with flower beds, climbers and BBQ. There is also a fenced pond, orchard and woodland area with Wendy House, swing and trampoline (use at own risk). There is ample parking. Surrounding a thousand year old castle, the historic village of Corfe Castle offers a host of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs.
