Lyme Regis with its harbour, cob and beach for fossil hunting, boating, fishing and scenic coastal walking. Explore Weymouth with its sandy beaches and Portland which held the 2012 Olympic sailing. Abbotsbury is famous for its swannery, sub tropical gardens and children’s farm.
Visit Forde Abbey and Gardens, Mapperton Gardens, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Motor Museum, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, Longleat House and Safari Park, or enjoy the pubs, scenic walking at the Liberty and Parrett trails, cycling and golf in this lovely area.
