Benefitting from stunning views of the rolling gardens and wider Wealden countryside, this large holiday let is ideal for a celebration, as a short break cottage, or as the epicentre for a wider touring holiday.
Soak up the sunshine in the extensive gardens, complete with a sun trap patio BBQ area overlooking the pond and beautiful Weald views, with its pretty fairy lights as dusk draws in. Work is best left at home, but if staying connected is important there is Wi-Fi, and a quiet bedroom with a desk should you need it. The drawing room is perfect to curl up and watch a film in the evening, a haven for kids or adults. Just up the hall is a second snug living room with TV, Wii, sofas and 2 massage chairs, a great separate space for the kids to enjoy (or adults!). The spacious dining room is a great place to enjoy an indulgent meal overlooking the gardens, and celebrate a special occasion.
What really sets this house apart from the rest however, is the brand new extension and pool house built in 2017. The new wing has the potential to sleep a further 8 people, along with an extra family bathroom, and a fabulous cinema room with large Smart TV and DVD player, 2 sofas seating 6-8, and bean bags. The new pool is enclosed in a barn style pool house, and comes complete with gadgets to satisfy everyone. It features a swim trainer, providing a current to swim against up to Olympic standard, Jacuzzi style seating at one end, and a waterfall cannon that is great for neck massages! With LED lighting, a wine store and fantastic entertainment system, the pool house is a great space to enjoy all year round.
The Boars Head golf club is on the doorstep at which you can relax and play a few rounds, or ramp up the adrenaline at the Bowles Ski and Climbing centre close by.
From your East Sussex holiday cottage, there is a myriad of attractions and towns nearby including Brighton, Hastings and historic sites such as Tonbridge Castle, Battle Abbey and Scotney Castle. Kent and Sussex Wine and Beer Centre is a short drive away, why not pick up a few samples to enjoy with a picnic?
