This is a very pretty picture book Hansel and Gretel woodland cottage sleeping 3 in 2 bedrooms - set in its own pretty landscaped garden beside 2,500 acres of the Crynant Forest with miles of uninterrupted walking or mountain biking. Certainly no need to get in the car except to drive down to the small town of Ystradgynlais (2 miles) to one of the local pubs/cafe/bars or a little further to The Brecon Beacons in one direction, only 13 miles to Swansea and The wonderful Beaches of The Mumbles or 7 miles to the Vale of Neath.
Cottage accommodation
There is a well equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and a freezer. There is a door out of the kitchen to a small sun room. The comfortable sitting room has reclining sofa, chair and large windows with a lovely view over the garden and woodlands. TV with SKY Plus.
There is a dining room with dining table and chairs.
The bathroom is downstairs: With a bath, shower over, handbasin and toilet.

Bedroom 2: with a single bed.
Out of the windows there are lovely views over the garden.

Safe storage for mountain bikes in a lock-up garage on the side of the cottage. Pets welcome but not upstairs. Ample parking. Large enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ.Cefn Coed Colliery Museum is only 3 miles and Craig-y-nos Country Park and Dan-yr-Ogof Show Caves 7 miles.
There is Clay Pigeon Shoot in the nearby forestry operating on a Saturday, Sunday and a Wednesday from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
