Walk the Gower Way across the backbone of this hauntingly beautiful place. Preserved as Britain's first AONB since 1966. The wild ponies roam free on common land and the beaches are the best-kept secret of Wales. Visit Three Cliffs Bay for stunning scenery. Take an exhilarating trip on The Gower Explorer( seasonal). Starting at "The Knab" in the village of Mumbles and out of Swansea Bay around the lighthouse. Your journey will give you a seagulls view of all the glorious sandy beaches and craggy headlands around the Gower Peninsula. Seals and dolphins follow playfully along. Surfers can be seen riding the waves on Crab Island off Langland Bay and beyond. If the weather is calm you may be lucky and spot Sunfish off Rhossili Headland.
