Outdoor ActivitiesThe diversity of outdoor activities in the area means there is something for everybody within a short drive. - walking, hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, pot holing or simply taking a mountain drive the unspoilt beauty of this area is captivating!Hay Bluff and Twmpa, the Black Mountains. This is a full days walk, starting from Hay town centre - youâll end up on top of the world, with spectacular views across to Pen-y-Fan. Offa's Dyke PathThe path runs close to Hay and is a challenging but well worth route, passing some breath-taking scenery along the way. Wye Valley Walk This walk extends from Chepstow and crosses the Offa's Dyke Path at Hay, and continues to Rhayader, a total distance of 103 miles. Be amazed by what this quiet area of Wales can offer. The scenery along the walk will reveal unspoilt Mid Wales countryside at every turn. Hereford and Llangorse Lake The market town of Hereford, a short drive away, makes for an excellent day trip. Visit the Cathedral, home to the famous Mappa Mundi and now unique Chain LibrarySailing on Llangorse Lake is available for all family, or hire a canoe. The unspoilt beauty of this area is beguiling.
