Please click More Details to read about the House Rules. The Loft sleeps a maximum of two people, with a lovely bedroom, which features a roll top bath, and a separate cloakroom. There is a roof terrace for relaxing outside, and free on street parking is readily available a short walk away from the property. The apartment is the perfect choice for a romantic break, in a picturesque town, surrounded by the beautiful Cotswolds countryside. The apartment has been lovingly furnished, to a high standard, whilst retaining many traditional character features, including exposed Cotswold stone walls and oak beams. The character of the apartment is complemented by its modern facilities, including wireless internet access, a Freeview TV and a Smart TV, and a well presented kitchen. The Loft is a stunning, Grade II listed, Cotswold stone apartment, perfectly located in the heart of the historic Cotswolds market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, just moments away from the market square. Stow is well known for its wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants, and the town is surrounded by the stunning Cotswolds countryside, with many walks accessible from the doorstep. The location is also ideal for exploring the many beautiful market towns and villages of the Cotswolds, as well as visiting famous tourist destinations, such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Blenheim Castle and Oxford. House Rules Booking and payment Character Cottages is a marketing agency and we do not own or manage any of the cottages listed on our website. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner. For bookings commencing more than 10 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 10 weeks prior to arrival. All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions. Security deposits Security deposits are not required (please note that guests are still liable for any damage or additional cleaning required as a result of their actions). Occupancy The maximum occupancy of the property is two guests at any point during your stay. Unauthorised over occupancy is a breach of our terms and conditions and may result in the cancellation of your booking and additional charges. The Loft does not accept children, however, one baby can be accommodated. Please note that The Loft is accessed via steep metal steps, which would make carrying babies and baby equipment difficult. Pets Regrettably, pets are not accepted. Bed linen and towels Bed linen and towels are provided for guests. Arrival and departure times Arrival time is after 3pm and departure time is by 11am so that you can make the most of a relaxed morning. Access is via a key safe, therefore it does not matter if you are arriving late at night. Bed sizes and configurations Double bed Bathrooms Roll top bath in the bedroom, plus a separate cloakroom, with a toilet and wash basin. Heating, fuel and logs The property has an electric central heating system, with underfloor heating in the cloakroom. Electricity is included in the rental price. Services provided The property has free wireless internet access, a Freeview TV, a Smart TV and a portable Bluetooth speaker. There is no telephone at the property. Mobile phone reception is generally OK. Parking Guests can unload their luggage in the courtyard, and free on street parking is readily available a short walk away from the property. Housekeeping Where a letting exceeds nine nights, a mid-stay clean, bed linen and towel change may be included in the price. Please check with us to confirm. Additional housekeeping services may be available on request. Child friendly facilities Regrettably, due to the steepness of the exterior steps, The Loft is not suitable for children. Babies who are not yet walking are accepted and guests are welcome to bring their own travel cot, however, please note that the steep steps make carrying babies and baby equipment difficult. Initial consumables A small quantity of initial consumables is provided for your convenience (eg. tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, soap, washing powder, toilet rolls, etc), however, you should not expect the quantity of these provisions to be sufficient for the duration of your stay. Accessibility, health and safety This is an old, Grade II listed property, with character features that include some low beams. There are also steep metal stairs to access the property, which could pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility, or carrying babies, both in terms of their general movement and their ability to quickly exit the property in the event of an emergency. The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk. Smoking No smoking is permitted throughout the property.
