Peacefully tucked away in the heart of the Forest, this truly unique property was a former cowshed and is brimming with character. The property is conveniently nestled in a prominent position overlooking the valley, you are well placed within the fringes of the traditional working village of Bream, well served with a traditional village pub, and two convenience stores. An absolute haven for fun seekers with easy access to the cycle trails and down hill courses that will test the best of mountain bikers, abseiling and caving at Symonds Yat rock, canoeing and a high wire rope course. No matter what the time of year you will be spoilt for choice with a vibrant events calendar, with food festivals to include Abergavenny and Forest Showcase festival, Clearwell Castle is within easy reach and many of the smaller villages host music festivals throughout the summer months. Not forgetting the Hay on Wye festival and Cheltenham Gold Cup. Take in the peace and tranquillity as you arrive at the front door of the converted bull pen, stepping into the porch where you are invited to leave your muddy boots behind. The kitchen forms part of the original bull pen and is brimming with original wooden beams and is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A breakfast table takes centre stage and is the perfect base for planning the day ahead. There is a utility room with washing machine additional fridge/freeze and room for dogs to dry off, along with a shower and WC. Step into the lounge which is warm and welcoming with an open fire, cosy sofas, exposed beams and TV/DVD. This area opens onto the dining room where a large wooden table with solid wooden chairs takes centre stage ready for any celebration meal. There is access from the dining room to a snug with TV and sofa bed for occasional guests. When it s time to say goodnight climb the stairs where you will find a further double with en suite shower room and WC, two super king size zip and link bedrooms (which can be made up as twins on request) and a further family room with a double bedroom and additional single bed. Lastly there is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC on this floor. The cottage is surrounded by mature gardens where you will find a table and chairs with BBQ for dining and a number of benches where you can enjoy the summer sun. After a day of exploring why not relax in your own hot tub or try your hand at star gazing. There is also a 2 acre enclosed area for dogs, a tennis court and secure bicycle storage and washing facilities. There is off road parking for five cars. For a small fee you can rent out the party tent and Bull bar for parties, located in the garden next to The Bull Pen up to 30 guests if requested
