From the pretty harbourside, the world famous Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam railway takes visitors on a scenic journey to the home of Welsh slate, Blaenau Ffestiniog, for fascinating journeys underground exploring the slate caverns, where adrenaline junkies will love bouncing on the unique trampoline nets at Bounce Below, or soaring high overhead on the worlds largest zip wire zone. Locally, enjoy excellent walking, bird watching and mountain biking, with the Coed Y Brenin centre being a short drive, where bike hire and an adventure high ropes course are available.
