Originally in part a 19th Century smugglers inn, this superb property offers a terrific venue for family reunions or friends and families sharing. This grand cottage stands in a large garden of one and a half acres and is situated towards the end of a quiet rural lane. The owners have sensibly arranged the cottage with reverse level accommodation so guests can enjoy exceptional views from the large balcony across fields and the protected bird reserve marshland to the Solent and the Isle of Wight beyond. There is a large comfortable lounge with exposed beams and fireplace, a dining room, a separate snug and a kitchen breakfast room, so there is plenty of room for guests to find their own space whilst staying. There are excellent coastal walks to be enjoyed from the property, while Lymington town centre is only a few minutes drive away. This property is a quite exceptional base and home from home for a family holiday in the area and we recommend it highly.
