Windsurfing and paddle board lessons are available in the town. There are miles of unspoilt coastline and countryside to explore which offer a haven of peace and tranquillity for walks and cycle rides. The seashore is about five miles long and offers places for swimming, sunbathing, beach volleyball and picknicking. Hayling Island has an amusement park which opened in the 1930’s and still attracts many visitors today, and holiday centres which have indoor pools and leisure facilities, many of which are open to visitors. Pitch and Putt, the coastal train and amusements for all ages can be found along the seafront. Seacourt Tennis Club is also close by.
