The Arbour adjoins the owners’ home and is conveniently located in the pretty village of Kingsland, boasting two pubs, tennis courts, play areas, a church, Post Office and tea rooms, all within walking distance. This is a perfect holiday cottage retreat for all ages, maybe a cosy night in by one of the wood burners or it is ideal for families who enjoy the outdoors. There is a range of animals to keep the children amused, including alpacas, goats and pigs.

Oaker Wood Leisure is just outside the village, and can entertain families and adults alike with paintballing, quad biking and more (please note this is for advanced group bookings only). Luctonians Rugby and Sports Club has an array of activities all year round, depending on the month you can laze and watch some cricket or a fun filled game of rugby. Kingsland is an ideal destination to combine and explore Herefordshire’s beautiful walks and history. The property is close to two wonderful National Trust properties - Berrington Hall and Croft Castle, the 30-mile Mortimer Trail passes through Croft with circular walks in-between. Other walks close by include Offa’s Dyke, the Brecon Beacons and the Malvern Hills, and all are within a 40-minute drive.

The city of Hereford boasts the famous Mappa Mundi, a cathedral and the River Wye meanders through. Why not hire a kayak and take in Hay-on-Wye, famous for its books and of course the Hay Festival which takes place in May and June each year? Bring a bike and explore the many cycle routes, including the Black and White Trail, where you can be taken back in time to the pretty villages of Dilwyn, Weobley, Pembridge and Eardisland. Venture into the neighbouring county of Shropshire and explore the town of Ludlow, with its bespoke shops, a variety of weekly markets and a castle. Visitors come from all over to Ludlow for its September Food Festival. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
