Lower Wernddu, Hereford

Herefordshire. Sleeps up to 23

Situated in the Golden Valley, within easy reach of the Black Mountains, Offa's Dyke and the Brecon Beacons, Jamie's Farm guests benefit from wonderful walks in the wilds of the countryside. With walking available directly from the door, once on site, the car keys can be hidden away for the duration of your stay. If walking isn't your thing, the area also offers paintballing, laser clay shooting, glass blowing and many country pubs offering good food locally.

This very special place has been set up by Jamie's Farm a charity which aims to transform the lives of vulnerable children from challenging urban schools. During weekends, when the farm is not being used, we can offer it for 2 night breaks for large groups of friends/family gatherings.

The farmhouse has been beautifully restored offering the comfort of modern conveniences while maintaining the character of the original property. The newly installed biomass boiler ensures the property is always warm and cosy with ample hot water for all. Within the large gardens is a fire pit (built by visiting children) and hard surface tennis court. Sit at the fire pit and watch the stars in the dark skies after maybe a tennis tournament between friends. Around the house the working farm continues its daily routine so there is every chance newly born lambs, piglets and maybe even calves will be in the sheds - visits to see these can be arranged with the farm manager on site.
The Farms close ties with the local community means we can offer hampers of local produce from the local shop. (to be ordered in advance).
