It makes a superb base for exploring this lovely part of the Northern Highlands. North Kessock benefits from a pub, restaurant and a grocery shop with Inverness having a larger range of shops, restaurants and pubs, theatre and leisure centres. Take a trip along the beautiful Moray coastline – voted amongst the top 20 of the world’s best coastline destinations, where you can visit some of the quaint fishing villages or meander along one of the many beautiful beaches and perhaps catch sight of the famous bottlenose dolphins of the Moray Firth. You can enjoy a dolphin cruise on the Moray Firth and visit the Dolphin and Seal Centre, just north of the village. Also just north of the village is Black Isle Wildlife Park. Take a trip along the Moray Malt Whiskey Trail – the only one of its kind in the world! The area has many attractions including Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Cawdor and Brodie Castles and the the world famous Loch Ness and the ruins of Urquhart Castle.
