Abernethy Forest sits on the edge of the cottage and is the largest remaining section of Caledonian Pine. The forests around are full of interesting wildlife from Red Squirrels, Crested Tits, Crossbills and Capercaillie. Walk from the village to visit Nethy s own Castle Roy. Visit Ballindalloch, Cawdor and Brodie Castles. Glen Urquhart Castle and Loch ness a 'must do' to see Nessie. Step inside this charming cottage to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, relax and unwind in front of the log burner, perfect for cosy romantic nights in to watch your favourite TV programme or film on the DVD. The kitchen area is well equipped with electric oven, hob, fridge and microwave. Enjoy an evening meal at the dining table and chairs. When the day is done retire to the comfy king size zip and link beds (can be made as a twin on request) There is an en suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The Utility room is in the cellar accessed down four steps outside the cottage providing storage for sports equipment and wet weather gear. Stepping back outside there is seating area to the front of the cottage with views over garden grounds. Take a stroll around the shared gardens and you will find a BBQ, summer house and a romantic seating area. Private off road parking available.
