This magnificent, detached country house can accommodate up to ten guests in high class splendour. Throughout Inveroykel Lodge, there are beautiful antiques and traditional Highland décor that honour its proud heritage and provides a superb environment to unwind and relax.
On the ground floor, the expansive living space includes a beautiful drawing room with a wood burner, a spacious dining room with a highly polished, formal dining table that can seat ten people, a snooker room and a cosy snug. There is a very spacious kitchen with every facility, including a very large range cooker and every modern convenience, although full housekeeping and catering services can also be provided by special arrangement. The luxurious bedrooms are on the first floor, and all benefit from the finest duvets, pillows, cashmere blankets and Egyptian cotton linens. With five bedrooms, one en-suite, two further bathrooms, and one shower room, it is ideal for families and groups of friends. Dogs are welcome to the property, with pet beds available by prior arrangement.
The property is set within Invercassley Estate, which has an extensive network of tracks, giving access to spectacular walks and trails. With so much undisturbed and varied habitat, it also provides nature lovers with a very special experience. Ospreys, golden eagles, hen harriers, ptarmigans and black grouse are all seen in the area. Pine marten and red deer are also present.
Although once on the estate it may seem wild and remote, it is easily accessible for small towns and places of interest, with plenty to see and do. The nearby village of Rosehall has a pub and restaurant. Tain and Dornoch both offer a good selection of facilities, including bars, shops and restaurants, as well as superb golf links. There are wonderful, wide sandy beaches within a short drive, and many historic castles and places to visit, including Dunrobin Castle, seat of the Dukes of Sutherland. Beach 24 miles. Shop 11 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.. 5 steps to entrance.
