Badgers Oak is built with a log cabin feel, from cedar and larch with wooden floors. These luxury homes are environmentally friendly with geo-thermal underground heating and bio-bubble treatment for waste, which then gets converted to organic matter and fed back to the earth.

Internally, Badgers Oak is furnished to a high standard. Externally, the property boasts a balcony running the length of the property with beautiful views down to the stream at the bottom of the field.

Calbourne Water Mill is one of the islands most popular attractions, set within 35 acres of countryside, as the only working water mill on the island this is a must see attraction. Watch the traditional flour making process using the 17th-century water and stone mills, and if this makes you hungry you can even buy the bread on-site!

Everything you will need for a fun packed holiday can be found on-site including punting, miniature golf, clay play, swings, café and giftware. The chalk bottom river close by boasts many fish including trout, eels, carp and koi carp.

West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is the ideal spot for catching a glimpse of the local wildlife, walking or just enjoying the beautiful countryside. From here take a visit to one of the islands many attractions including Freshwater Bay, Alum Bay’s famous coloured cliffs or The Needles, one of Britain’s most famous landscapes.
