Explore historic Canterbury with the stunning cathedral, home of the Church of England and many National Trust properties including Chartwell, former home of Sir Winston Churchill, Knole House and Ightham Mote. For families, Port Lympe Wild Animal Park is close by or head to the coast and the family friendly beaches such as Dymchurch and Hythe, both of which can be accessed by the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch railway, or simply enjoy the Kent countryside with a stroll along The Royal Military Canal which is right on your doorstep.
