It has a Highlands lodge feel with masses of space for large families or groups to comfortably spend a week. The property is situated only 8 miles from Grantown-on-Spey in an unrivalled, edge-of-forest location. The River Spey is only a few minutes’ walk away, and permits can be purchased locally to enjoy the world-class fly fishing.

There are countless walking trails, including the Speyside Way that passes to the rear of the property. Mountain biking is a popular pursuit here, and there are many other activities to get involved with locally, including canoeing, skiing, golfing, quad biking and horse riding.

The property boasts a large enclosed garden, with space for up to five cars to park. The real hub of home is the kitchen, which is spacious and has a large dining table. It’s open plan with a wee snug that has a cosy open fire. From here is a hallway, along which is a double bedroom with en-suite, a twin bunk room and a large family shower room. At the end of hallway the magnificent and large sun room acts as the main living/dining room with a wood burner.

From the sun room are patio doors to the garden, with well-kept lawns and private woodland. The patio has a large hot-tub to be enjoyed at any time of the year. A path leads across the lawn to the Bothy, which is a games room and home cinema with a small kitchenette, bathroom and single sofa bed.

Back at the house, and from the snug the stairs lead up to the first floor. From the landing there are two twin bedrooms and a master double bedroom with a single sofa bed, en-suite and balcony.

It truly is a spectacular property in an unrivalled Scottish Highlands location. When not out enjoying outdoor activities or visiting local distilleries at Glenfiddich, Glenlivet or Aberlour, you can relax at Easter Duiar and plan your next visit to this wee slice of heaven. Shop, pub and restaurant 5 miles.
