Mooring for a boat is available alongside The Green, opposite the property (first come first served), and with fishing almost on the doorstep (seasonal, licence required), the location couldn’t be better for keen fishermen. The cinema/games room, complete with 65" TV, DVD player, PlayStation 3, dart board, pool table and table football, offers guests further enjoyment. The contemporary open plan living area is on the first floor with magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows. Wroxham, the ’Capital of the Broads’, can be reached within a 10-minute drive, with its riverside cafés, restaurants, shops and train station. The area is criss-crossed with numerous footpaths and cycling trails, or for those keen walkers, explore the 56-mile Weavers’ Way while it winds its way through some of the best parts of the Broads. National Trust properties, including Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and Horsey Windpump, and many RSPB nature reserves are all within easy reach. BeWILDerwood, an adventure park with treehouses, zip wires and jungle walks, is a short drive away. Alternatively, for excellent shopping, markets, museums, cafés, pubs, restaurants, theatre and much more, the city of Norwich is just 30 minutes’ away. Golf can be found at Sprowston Manor, 6 miles.
