Boasting a comfortable, open-plan living space with a wood burner and well-equipped kitchen, each barn has its own enclosed, walled, lawned garden with seating. There is a function hall on-site (with conference and catering facilities for up to 250 guests) which may be available for use by prior arrangement with the owner. Neighbouring the owner’s farm, Piggyback Barns are situated in the peaceful village of Sculthorpe, just 8 miles from the Norfolk coastline with its wealth of sandy beaches, and RSPB bird and nature reserves. Excellent walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the doorstep.

Fakenham, 2 miles, offers good shops, restaurants, inns, a bowling alley, cinema and golf course. Bustling Burnham Market, with village shops, inns and restaurants, is 7 miles away. Wells-next-the-Sea, 8 miles, offers an excellent sandy beach with colourful beach huts, a small shopping town centre with many inns and restaurants, and a picturesque fishing harbour - popular for fresh shell fish. Further along the coast is Brancaster for an uncrowded sandy beach and golf course. Brancaster Staithe provides a popular venue for sailing and boating enthusiasts.

The traditional seaside towns of Heacham and Hunstanton offer an array of activities for all ages. Many places of historical interest and stately homes are within surrounding area. Twenty minutes’ drive away is the historical town of Kings Lynn for shopping, market place, restaurants, inns and theatre, and also Norwich city for excellent shopping, castle museum, cathedral, theatre, market place, restaurants and inns. Beach 8 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
