This quaint little cottage offers a cosy welcome for guests looking to immerse themselves in Norfolk coastal village life and get away from the stresses and strains of everyday routine. Constructed from traditional brick and carrstone, this terraced cottage is quite deceptive in appearance, offering more spacious accommodation than the exterior suggests. Thornham itself is a pretty village with a backdrop of picturesque marshland that leads to the sea and is perfect for birdwatchers. In fact, the whole area provides fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities and it soon becomes easy to see why Norfolk was crowned the birdwatching capital of Europe. Travel east or west and you will find a string of pretty coastal villages with places to shop and eat. For all the fun of the fair, head to Hunstanton with its much-photographed, wide, sandy beach, Sea Life Centre, small funfair and traditional seaside attractions. History lovers can enjoy a trip to the Sandringham Estate and Holkham Hall, and walkers will find many coastal routes to enjoy.
