Dependent on the time of your visit, you are also likely to encounter geese, herons, kingfishers, dragonflies, squirrels and foxes, all of which inhabit the site. When converting these terraced, single-storey barns, the owner, who lives on-site, has taken care to ensure that every comfort is provided. Little extra touches include 300-thread Egyptian cotton sheets and sensory mirrors in the high-end quality bathrooms. Ideal for couples and families, all three barns have been stylishly decorated and furnished to offer a peaceful break away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. It has the biggest kitchen, as well as a large breakfast bar and separate dining table. Lakeview (ref UKC2189) has stunning views over Bawburgh Lakes and Fisheries. Its theme colour is a deep purple to aid relaxation. In a secluded position, it lies at the side of Lodge Farm overlooking a woodland area going down to the lakes. Lakeview and Courtyard have an acoustic adjoining door, which makes them ideal for larger parties holidaying together. The Dairy (ref UKC2190) is themed in retro 70s red. It is at the front of Lodge Farm, and has its large glass windows overlooking the fields and the woodland area; its patio looks out over the stunning lakes and the bird hide, where two resident swans often come in to rest. If you can tear yourself away from the barns, a visit to Norwich will reveal numerous museums, a famous Norman castle, many shops and eateries, and lots of places to explore.
