Guests staying at this charming property can moor their hire boat directly outside the cottage with their own quay and river frontage when not exploring the endless waterways and broads with charming villages and hamlets full of interesting places to stop and enjoy a bite to eat or glass of refreshment. The garden provides a relaxing place to sit back and watch the boats and wildlife go by while those wishing to venture further afield can discover many attractions for all ages and tastes. Those enjoying coastal sightseeing will be happy to know the Norfolk coast is only five miles away and the National Trust properties at Felbrigg and Blickling are also within easy reach. On arriving guests should initially collect the trolley from the garage for luggage before making the scenic ten minute stroll along the river bank to the cottage. Upon arriving guests will find the boot room with handy storage for coats and shoes before entering the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob fridge freezer and microwave everything required for holiday dining. On entering the lounge/diner the first thing which catches the eye are the large patio doors out to the veranda allowing for a fantastic view across the river and open countryside. A mixture of comfortable chairs and sofa provide a place to relax and watch the TV/DVD. Gather around the dining table a great place to dine while enjoying the view. There are three bedrooms a double with an additional single bed a double and a twin room with two 2 6 beds. Completing the accommodation is a shower room with shower and WC and a bathroom with small bath and WC. The large riverside garden has ample space in which to relax and play small ones can stay within the enclosed veranda which benefits from a retractable sun canopy. Here garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ create a perfect place for al fresco dining on a summers evening. The quay provides a mooring for any boats guests may wish to hire and of course a spot for anglers to fish from. Please take care with children as there is direct access to the river from the garden. There is off-road parking for one car (parking for an additional car by prior arrangement).
