In rural Northamptonshire on a working sheep and cattle farm are these three lovely barns that have been converted to give guests the taste of rural life in a comfortable property within close proximity to many great towns and nearby counties of Warwickshire and Oxfordshire. All on one level, these barns can be booked individually or together if you are looking to get away with friends and family. Both Oak Barn (UKC3321) and Ash Barn (UKC3322) are large studio accommodation with super kingsize beds that can be split into twins if required. They both have a fully equipped kitchen and patio doors leading out to private outdoor space where you can enjoy the far reaching views across fields and open countryside. The Apple Barn (UKC3323) is a one bedroom property with an en-suite and an open plan kitchen, dining and living space overlooking the orchard. All three properties are presented to a good standard and are ideally located to visit this beautiful area.
There are many outdoor pursuits that can be enjoyed in the area including a choice of golf courses, clay pigeon shooting, canal boating, Dallas Burston Polo Club and coarse fishing at the nearby Boddington Reservoir. Guests who enjoy walking will find many country walks including the Jurassic Way, a long distance footpath between Banbury and Stamford that passes through the nearby village of Staverton. Silverstone racecourse is just 21 miles, making this the ideal location for those attending the British Grand Prix. There are a choice of country pubs within a couple of miles from the farm and many towns to be visited including Daventry, 5 miles away, where you can find high street shops and supermarkets. The thriving market town of Southam is just over 9 miles in neighbouring Warwickshire and Royal Leamington Spa is 17 miles, famous for the Royal Pump Rooms and the Royal Spa Centre and Regent Shopping Centre. Warwick is 21 miles with its castle, racecourse, antique and craft shops, Banbury, 16 miles, Kenilworth, 21 miles, where you will find castle ruins and even an outdoor swimming pool. Shakespeare’s home town of Stratford-upon-Avon is 30 miles, Bicester shopping village, 30 miles, and a little further is the historic university city of Oxford, 40 miles away.
There are many more interesting places to visit including Burton Dassett Hills Country Park, 12 miles, National Trust properties; Canons Ashby, Farnborough Hall, Upton House and Gardens, Stow and Charlecote Park, Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park and The British Motor Museum. There are also many wedding venues close by including Crockwell Farm, Skylark Wedding, Staverton Park, Hellidon Lakes, Dodford Manor and Dodmoor House. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 1¾ miles.
