A sleek kitchen area is also on the first floor, which has a useful walk-in larder adjacent. There is also a snug/second lounge on this floor with its own TV area. Two twin bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms are also on the upper floor.
Strawberry Hill View is located within easy walking distance of Newton Hall, a Georgian boutique hotel specialising in weddings. There is a family-friendly pub only 200 yards into the village, and the beautiful golden sandy beach is less than a mile away. The welcoming village of Embleton is less than two miles south, where there is a village shop, pubs and its own stretch of golden sands. The wide sweep of sandy beach that Beadnell Bay is renowned for is four miles north, a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, including sailing, sea kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving. Two miles further up the coastline, is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands (famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony) depart regularly from its harbour and the picture-perfect village of Bamburgh, snuggled in the shadow of its majestic castle, is a further three miles north. Just a few miles inland, is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy). Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden; a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including the Grand Cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe!
Strawberry Hill View is an excellent choice for those seeking spacious contemporary accommodation giving easy access to explore the 20 miles Heritage coastline, recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
