Set midway between Alnwick and Rothbury these properties are surrounded by stunning countryside peppered with friendly Northumbrian villages. A short drive leads to the glorious Northumbrian Heritage Coast AONB with castles, fortresses and golden unspoilt beaches. Excellent walks and golf can be enjoyed in the surrounding countryside, whilst fishing on-site and pheasant shooting in season can be arranged with the owner. Rothbury, set along the river, offers lovely little shops and inns, whilst Alnwick is famous for its majestic castle used in Harry Potter. Many NT properties nearby include Cragside with its magnificent gardens and hall. Visit Craster or Seahouses before taking a boat trip over to the Farne Islands to see the seals and birds.
