This lovely cottage provides the perfect base for exploring the stunning county of Northumberland with Alnmouth beach only a 10 minute drive from the property. The historic market town of Alnwick is just a short walk away, and is home to an excellent range of cafes, boutique shops, restaurants, cobbled streets and traditional market days, but is best known for the majestic Alnwick Castle and the fantastic Alnwick Garden. Both the castle and garden make excellent days out for all the family, with the castle s popular dungeons and the garden s wonderful displays. There s also a theatre, leisure centre and the popular Bakehouse Art Gallery, as well as Barter Books, with the largest collection of second hand books in the country. On entering this bright and attractive single level cottage, which is part of a complex of delightful holiday properties, you will find yourself in the light and welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With TV, DVD, comfortable seating and a selection of games, books and DVDs, the tastefully furnished lounge is an ideal space to relax in after a fantastic day. You will also find a charming dining area, and the stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, integrated washer/dryer, dishwasher and low level lighting. Exploring this lovely property further you will find two cosy bedrooms. There s a master bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite shower room which has underfloor heating, a spacious walk in shower with rainforest shower head and an additional hand held shower and WC. You will also find a comfy twin bedroom. There is also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stepping outside, you can unwind in the enclosed and private patio which houses a hot tub, as well as an outdoor dining area. At the side of the property there is ample parking space in the shared driveway for up to two cars. There s also a shared patio area with dining table, BBQ and sauna. You will also have access to the shared gardens in the grounds and children's play equipment.
