Enjoy tranquil walks from the doorstep along the River Rede and from Bellingham, explore the beautiful woodland walk to Hareshaw Linn to see the stunning waterfall. Head to Kielder Water and Forest Park (10 miles) for walking and cycling trails galore, a range of outdoor activities, falconry, and the Dark Sky Observatory. Discover Roman history at Housesteads and Vindolanda and Northumberland s coastal villages and castles like Warkworth and Bamburgh. As you enter this single storey cottage you will find yourself in the well equipped, light and airy kitchen/diner with views out to the garden which is host to a variety of birdlife and the occasional red squirrel. If you re dining in, enjoy cooking and eating together either indoors or outside on the deck. After your day s activities, the lounge is the perfect place to rest and relax in comfort in front of the cosy wood burner set in a stone, inglenook fireplace. Take in the views of the valley and glorious sunsets from this room and there is Smart TV with basic Sky package for family entertainment. There are two bedrooms where you can enjoy a good night s sleep; one with a double bed and the other with a four poster double bed. Both bedrooms provide super views over the garden towards the hills and neighbouring countryside. The family bathroom comprises of a shower over the bath and WC. Outside the lovely garden surrounds the cottage on three sides. At the front, there is a picnic style table and seating. To the rear, there is a raised area with garden furniture placed under the pagoda with fairy lights and a charcoal BBQ for fun, alfresco dining, and drinks.
