Cotswolds Country House is located in the beautiful village of Kingham, which was once voted England’s favourite by Country Life. With two pubs, a village shop, church, electric bike hire and a railway station connecting you to London, Worcester and Hereford, it is a great place to base yourself whilst exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The picture-postcard Cotswolds towns and villages of Moreton-in-Marsh, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, are all within a 10-mile drive where you can sample traditional cream teas, shop in the many independent shops or eat in many village pubs. Witney, Bicester, with its expanding designer outlet shopping village, Banbury, Chipping Campden and Blenheim Palace in Woodstock are also easily accessible. Slightly further afield are Cheltenham, famous for its annual horse racing festival, the historic university city of Oxford, and Warwick where you’ll find the historic castle and Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon. Visit National Trust Chasleton House, Hidcote Manor or Kiftsgate Court. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
