These semi-detached barns, located adjacent to the owners’ home, have been very well designed, offering spacious rooms and comfortable surroundings set in picturesque countryside. Each barn has its own outside area and also boasts an atrium off one of the bedrooms and the kitchen area. The furniture, fixtures and fittings are all high specification and the barns have been beautifully decorated.
There is so much to see in this beautiful area as well as many countryside walks; there are links to The Ridgeway which is an ancient 87-mile track, directly from the farm. Visit White Horse Hill which is believed to be over 3000 years old (late Bronze Age), the Court Hill Centre, Uffington Castle, the Lord Wantage Monument and Waylands Smithy. The market town of Wantage, which is known as King Alfred’s birthplace, is 2½ miles away and you will find many shops, pubs and restaurant; during the summer you will be able to enjoy music in the marketplace. Further afield there are plenty of National Trust properties to visit including Buscot Park, Basildon Park, The Chase Nature Reserve and The Coombes, Hinton Parva where you may discover rare wildflowers and a myriad of butterflies. Also within easy reach are Blenheim Palace, Didcot Railway and the shopping outlet, Bicester Village. These properties are also a great place to stay if attending a wedding or function at Lains Barn, Ardington House and Barton House. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
