Walk around Dinas Island part of the Long Distance TrailWalk around the spectacular headland to the picturesque beach Pwllgwaelod before then returning via the pleasant country lane having circumnavigated a National Trust sheep farm run by the pioneering and professional Perkins family. Pets welcome on leads (this is sheep country). Newport Golf ClubNewport has two fabulous beaches and an18 hole links golf course and a daily ferry service sails to Ireland from Goodwick near Fishguard. Newport and Newport Boat ClubNewport, a friendly, charming seaside village with pubs, restaurants, antique shop, gift and book shops, butchers selling local meat and home-made delicacies and a well stocked wholefood shop. There is sailing from Newport Boat Club and safe bathing on the Parrog Beach and Newport Sands and golf at the spectacular links course. Do visit the Newport Collective Gallery/Shop. You will find a varied selection of arts and crafts created by local people including paintings, ceramics, jewellery, wooden goods, cards and more. Newport Bike HireMountain and road bikes for all ages are available to hire including children's seats and tag alongs. Helmets, maps and accessories are provided. Book an escorted trek around the Preseli ranges to blow the cobwebs away. Cwm yr Eglwys Cwm yr Eglwys has its very own micro climate, renowned for being a few degrees hotter and drier compared to other parts of the Pembrokeshire coast. The bathing is safe and there is a slipway for launching small boats. A stream runs through the middle of the beach and there are lots of rock pools - clamber over the rocks at the west end of the beach to discover a secret 'low tide' beach.
