The village has a vast history, literary lights including Sir Walter Scott, James Hogg and Ettirck Shepherd all spent time here and it s easy to see why. The nearby Yarrow Valleys offer a beautiful and undisrupted vista where you can enjoy the tranquillity. For those who are more adventurous, Glentress Forest is the UK s leading mountain bike centre and is within easy reach of the property and there are plenty of other outdoor activities to partake in.
