For keen walkers enjoy the Mary Webb trail, The Shropshire Way and Offa s Dyke are both within easy reach and for day tripping take why not visit Stokesay castle, Wenlock Priory and Severn valley railway. The famous hay festival is only a 40 minute drive a literary delight in May and June. Your journey to the barn starts off grid enjoying views across the surrounding farm land, and at the brow of the hill you will be welcomed by the beauty of the barn. Kick off your boots and step into the dining room where the stone floors with under floor heating and exposed staircase will simply take your breath away, the dining table and chairs provided are the perfect props for any dinner party or simple Sunday lunch. Pass on through to the lounge, the cosy seating area warmed with a wood burner is great for a movie night in front of the TV/DVD or game of cards. Steps up into the kitchen with a centre island and wooden benches for friends to gather and enjoy a glass of wine. Well equipped with two eye level electric ovens and hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer with ice maker and dishwasher. The utility room with WC and washing machine is also on this floor, and when the sun sets and it s time to rest you will find a twin bedroom on this floor too. Follow the main staircase where you will find two bedrooms with high quality beds throughout the property, one super king size zip and link (which can be made into a twin on request) with en suite shower over bath and WC and one king size with en suite bathroom with shower and WC. Follow the smaller staircase at the opposite end of the barn where you will find one double and en suite bathroom with stylish slipper bath, separate shower and WC. Take a step outside and enjoy the sunrise across the countryside, the landscaped grounds with large patio area is great for entertaining with table, chairs and BBQ. And for summer evenings watching the stars follow the steps down to the snug carved into the hillside and enjoy the warmth of the kadai fire pit with all of the accompanyments.
