Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include numerous National Trust properties, the West Somerset Railway and Exmoor National Park, famed for its beautifully rugged scenery. Entering the property from the side door you immediately find yourself in a lovely spacious country style kitchen/diner, complete with AGA (operational October to March inclusive), electric range oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and even a wood burner. Venturing further into the property you then discover two beautifully appointed lounges, both with TV's and one with a wood burner and DVD, and comfortable seating for 14 is spread across these rooms. There is also a useful additional WC located on this floor next to the formal front door to the property. The next room is a large utility with washing machine, tumble dryer and additional fridge/freezer and here is the perfect place to store jackets and wellies having spent a day exploring the surrounding countryside. This room then leads to one of the best features of the property, a very well equipped games area (available to use from 10am to 10pm each day) with antique skittle alley, full size snooker table and cosy seating area with a further wood burner. The split level first floor is divided into two wings and approached by two separate staircases. Ascending the first staircase you will find yourself amongst the largest arrangement of bedrooms and working forwards from the furthest away there is a spacious twin bedroom, king size bedroom, a king size with en suite bathroom with shower attachment on bath and WC, a second twin bedroom, and a lastly further spacious king size. Located in the same wing there is also a bathroom with shower attachment on bath, separate shower and WC; and two additional shower rooms, both with WC. On the other side of the property and approached via the second cottage style staircase, you will find the two remaining bedrooms, one king size and one double both with en suite shower room and WC. Heading outside, further treats are in store and here you will discover a shared, heated indoor swimming pool, large enclosed garden with lawn, garden furniture, BBQ, and private hot tub. Further to this guests also benefit from a children's play area with selection of equipment, including swing, slide and climbing frame. There is also ample private off road parking provided.
